Moreover, she was FORCED to go through with the pregnancy and the birth as I was born in pre-Roe times. Ending up with a permanently destroyed genital tract, fecal incontinence, and prolapsed pelvic organs did NOT encourage her to want me any more after I was born than before I was born. As an unwanted child, I was abandoned at age 2. Unwanted children grow up into unwanted adults that society views as “disposable.” I certainly did not choose to be born or pick my life. So there were two women who didn’t get a choice: my mother AND me. Anti-abortion tampon terrorists that bully women and shoot doctors and influence law and social policy certainly didn’t do my mother or me any favors.
